I'm fundraising to fight MS!
This year we are raising funds for MS Queensland, to show our support and make an impact in the lives of people living with MS!
In doing so we will be participating in this year's Mareeba & Dimbulah Community Bank Great Wheelbarrow Race 2025.
Our Team will be running and pushing a wheelbarrow for 3 days, totaling 140km. Day 1 Mareeba- Dimbulah (42km), Day 2 Dimbulah-Almaden (65km) and Day 3 Almaden-Chillagoe(33km).
Did you know:
- On average, more than 10 Australians are diagnosed with MS every week
- The average age of diagnosis is just 30 years of age.
- Three out of four Australians with MS are women
Your support will help fund essential services like physiotherapy, occupational therapy, counselling and symptom management, as well as MS research to look for better treatments and ultimately a cure for the disease.
