As some of you may know, the past six months have been incredibly unexpected when it comes to my health. It all began with numbness in my right arm and leg, which I still experience today, caused by two lesions on my brain affecting my nerves.  For the next 5 years to be monitored to determine whether this could be the early stages of MS.

Over this time, I’ve gone down many rabbit holes trying to understand what MS is and how people live with it long term. The reality is that it affects everyone differently, with a wide range of symptoms and outcomes. It’s a very scary place to be, not knowing what comes next or what to expect and at times it leaves you feeling angry and frustrated with your own body.
