Lions Culb of Samford are raising Money for MS
The Lions Club of Samford has a noble mission for August 6, 2023. They are organising an event that will involve a walk up the Goat Track at Highvale, near Samford. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for MS Queensland and bring more awareness to the daily struggles faced by people with MS. It's a great opportunity for the community to come together for a good cause and make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by MS.
Did you know:
- On average, more than 10 Australians are diagnosed with MS every week
- The average age of diagnosis is just 30 years of age.
- Three out of four Australians with MS are women
By supporting our cause, you will contribute to funding crucial services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, counselling, and symptom management for individuals affected by MS. In addition, your contribution will aid in MS research, which aims to find improved treatments and, ultimately a cure for the disease.
So keep an eye on our Facebook page for when registrations for this event open.
